Found the baptismal record of my great-great-great-great grandfather, from 1806.  Born in Quebec, Canada.

Translation:

In the year 1806, the 29th of June, by me the undersigned priest, was baptized Édouard, born the 26th of the present month of the lawful marriage of Augustin Malhiot, farmer of this parish, and of Victoire Neveu. The godfather was Jean Baptiste Demers and the godmother Marie Janelle, who as well as the father declared not knowing how to sign.
